M&W Books currently focuses on the works of one author, M. David Scoble. In the future, M&W Books plans on expanding its kennel of well behaved authors and associated dogs, cats, and other companions. A good author is a happy find!
We know each author’s journey is their own. Building connections to other authors is vital to our business and general well-being. We are interested in hearing about your author journey in person at events, meet-ups, and dog shows. If you see M. David out and about, please feel free to walk up and start a conversation! Treats may be given. No sniffing.

M. David writes from a secluded location in the heart of Tokyo. Surrounded by a variety of inconvenient Yokai, Yurei, and a pair of very lazy hounds, M. David happily devotes modest amounts of free time to exploring the worlds of supernatural creatures, high science, and the cybernatural world to come.

Kitsune – Naomi Ito has discovered that Yokai are real. She defeated the wild fox spirit that was killing women in Akasaka. Now she is pursued by a more powerful fox spirit, a 150-year old Kitsune.
Tanooki – Some spirits are good, some are bad. Naomi doesn’t know which is stealing her precious stash of blessed sake. Revenge must be had, but will it result in a Tanooki in the pot or Naomi?
